Clear answers

Is it suitable for beginners?

Yes. The kayaks are very stable and the guide explains everything on the beach before you set off — no previous experience needed.

Do I need to be able to swim?

Yes, it's required. You wear a life vest at all times, but if you can't swim this safari isn't for you.

Is there a minimum age? Can children come?

Yes: the safari is for ages 5 and up. Children always go with an adult.

How long is it?

About 3 hours: briefing, paddling, a snorkel stop and the cave.

What should I bring?

Swimwear, a towel, sunscreen, a hat and water. We supply the kayak, paddle, life vest and snorkel kit. Wear shoes you can get wet.

Will we see dolphins?

We paddle their habitat. Dolphins and turtles are common. We don't guarantee a sighting: they are wild.

Is snorkelling included?

Yes. About 30 minutes in a quiet volcanic bay. Mask and snorkel are provided.

Do you pick up from hotels?

Yes, on request: transport from your hotel to the starting point is included if you ask when booking.

Which languages?

English and Spanish. We do not promise a German-speaking guide.

Is there parking nearby?

Yes. Los Cristianos has paid parking and drop-off near the promenade. We meet at Calle Juan Reverón Sierra 1, opposite the beach.
